Hello everyone!!

Anyone fancy an Art Party??

Theme: Bring back all your unfinished works, or paint a flower with me!

So, on Wednesday 29th July, I’ve booked Upper Sheringham Hall. Unfortunately, there’s already a booking until 12, but that just means we should have a lovely long afternoon together instead – I’ve booked the hall until 5pm.

Back by popular request but I’ve just stopped calling them art clubs as that seemed a bit boring, so now they’re called Art Parties! Basically, it’s the perfect day for you to bring back all your unfinished works and get my help turning them into finished pieces.

For those of you who haven’t been to my classes before, or if you’re super speedy and have finished everything in sight, we’ll be working on a beautiful flower in pastels. Each of you will have a small piece of Pastelmat to work on, whether you choose to use it in class for your flower or take it home to use another time.

  • How Art Parties work

    This is a relaxed, sociable afternoon where, instead of doing demos for everyone to follow, it’s much more individually based. You’ll bring back one, two, or even three unfinished pieces, and I’ll come round to everyone with individual tuition. I’ll also be doing some informal demos on the flowers for those of you wanting a new project.

    Lunch and refreshments provided! I might stagger the food so we aren’t feeling so full that we can’t work, but there will be plenty for everyone to eat.

    Please bring your own materials – for Art Parties, it’s a bring-your-own-materials day, as you know what you need for your piece. I will have some supplies with me, and if anyone doesn’t have materials and needs to borrow some, I can of course bring along a pencil pot of joy!

    You attend my classes at your own risk and we use equipment like daylight lamps, extension cables and other potential hazards. We also use a wide variety of art materials and serve assorted foods. I always take the utmost care, but I’m just one person, so please do let me know of any allergies or dietary requirements – I’m happy to provide gluten free, lactose intolerant, vegetarian etc. I’ll do my very best to accommodate you, but I cannot guarantee that there is no cross-contamination. If you have serious allergies, you’ll need to bring your own food. Thank you so much for your understanding!
