Pricing | Pet Portraits

 

All the above prices are for portraits either drawn or painted in coloured pencil, pastel or oil on canvas (from 40 x 50cm size).  The medium can be discussed with you according to your preference or I can make a recommendation for you.   I will only be able to take dual portraits on sizes from 40 x 50cm and upwards as I want to be able to get details in to create realism.    I prefer not to work with any more than 3 animals as I specialise in seeking the uniqueness out of each pet and need the space to be able to do them justice!  An alternative I can offer is single portraits to match each other and of a similar size etc.. that can hang on a wall side by side.  You could always have a collage on the wall of all your animals which you can add to over the years 🙂

The measurements quoted are approximate.  The image will take up as much of the space as aesthetically possible but it depends on the dimensions of the photo and what works as a composition. Please don’t buy the frame until the final drawing has been done because you need to take into consideration the mount and the size which may be bespoke.  All coloured pencil and pastel drawings will be mounted, ready for framing, prior to sending to you.

Oil/acrylic portraits do not need to be framed as they will be completed, ready to hang on the wall.  Please allow extra time for oil portraits as they require drying time between layers, completion drying after final oiling and then time to be varnished.  Prices quoted are in UK Sterling.  Please get in touch and I will give you an up to date price in other currencies.

Payment Terms

50% of the total is to be paid on booking your slot and guarantees you the place in my diary.   The full amount needs to be paid on completion and prior to shipping or collection.

Framing is an optional extra and will depend on the frame you would like and I will happily discuss this with you.
