Meet Jessie, a much adored rescue doggie who is sadly no longer with us. Pastels and pastel pencils

She was a very special girl and totally adored by her mum who commissioned me to draw her. I loved every minute of it and really felt something for this beautiful lady as I worked.

Apparently she was a real softie and also survived cancer and lived for many years after her diagnosis.

I felt as if I knew Jessie and it brought me so much pleasure bringing her to life again on the canvas. A much-loved lady
