So thrilled to be able to share with you a commission from a few months back which has now been gifted! Stanley is a much, much loved member of the family and I loved drawing his sweet, kind face. Apparently he’s a gentle little soul and the apple of his dad’s eye! I loved seeing all the photos of Stanley while I was drawing him – I felt like I really got to know him. He has a wonderful home and a wonderful life! I drew Stanley using drafting film and the highest quality coloured pencils.

I’m sure you all think I’m mad when I ask for lots and lots of photos and for some information about your doggie before I draw them 🙂 But for me, I have a little soul on my drawing board and I want to know a bit about them and their character – I’ll be spending between 30-40 hours with them so it only feels right 🙂
