Here’s Spanish Rosie Oil on canvas It’s only taken me a year

Rosie is my own little girl who I adopted from Spain This is the face she pulls when she’s waiting sooooo patiently for chick chick chicken to fall off the bbq! The more angelic she looks, the more chicken she thinks she gets. She’s probably right

I’ve been loving painting her in oils – they are so rich and lush to work with, but the layers take so long to dry!! I’m sure I’ll go back and tweak bits in time, but I thought I’d share her before another year goes past!
