Here is Lady Buttercup, one of my original drawings which I hope to provide prints of in the near future! I met this little lady on my travels this summer – I love finding animals to photograph and use as inspiration for my drawings! As much as I massively love my doggies, I am also very fond of sheep (and all other animals) so it’s fun to have a little change on my drawing board! The great thing about drawings like this is that I get to practice new techniques and try out new art supplies which is always fun! This one was drawn using the Derwent lightfast paper and although I struggled getting used to it, I do love the depth and softness it helped me create, so no doubt I will be back to it again soon 🙂
