Here’s Blondine – another AKIRA resident who was an absolute pleasure to draw!

I had the pleasure of meeting Blondine when I was up at the sanctuary and I was struck by how utterly beautiful she was. I took lots of photos of her and eagerly came back and started work on her portrait. She will form part of the AKIRA collection of greeting cards and prints which will hopefully raise much-needed funds for the rescue centre.

Blondine was drawn using Faber Castell Polychromos, Caran D’ache Pablos & Luminance pencils on Clairefontaine Pastelmat paper and is A3 in size. I have had her framed and she looks like she means business with black mounting and frame!
